Poems I Read to a Cat

This book wasn’t something I planned more like something that happened when I couldn’t hold things in anymore. It’s a collection of poems I wrote during quiet moments, mostly when I didn’t have anyone else to talk to… so I talked to a cat instead. Poems I Read to a Cat is about love, timing, and everything that comes in between the fear, the warmth, the loneliness, and the hope. It’s not polished or fancy. It’s real. These poems came from a place of missing someone deeply, loving someone at the wrong time, and trying to make peace with that. If someone reads it and feels a little less alone, then that’s more than enough for me.
