Drinking with the Crows

Drinking with Crows is a collection of poems about the wild places we carry inside us. These poems wander through rivers, forest, old fields, hunting camps, and family memories and the quiet struggle to understand what it means to be alive. They are poems about birds lifting from winter grass, coffee before sunrise, old friends who are gone, children growing up, and the stubborn beauty of simply staying here. At their heart, they are about the places we go to find ourselves and the realization that sometimes the wilderness was never outside us at all.
