Noor in the Shadows

"Then I saw you… My Noor in the Shadows." What does it mean to find the light when you have lost your way, and what if that light is a part of yourself you have forgotten? Noor in the Shadows is a collection of poems about that search. Within these pages, Noor, light, and the author's name; becomes the self one loses touch with in the darkness. These poems explore loneliness, fear, hope, and understanding oneself. It is not a simple journey; pain remains. Moving forward means sitting with our demons, discovering that even an ordinary life is worth embracing.
